Journeys Through History: New Mexico Historical Markers

Come and hear a presentation by Phil and Rosanne Archuletta about the New Mexico Historical Markers at the Tijeras Village Hall. Their talk will include the history of the state’s Historical Marker Project, as well as stories about the people and places that are located in our East Mountain area. They will be sharing from their three books – New Mexico Historic Marker Roadmaps – Inspiring Stories of Men, Women and Places published in February 2023, Women Marked for History, which won the New Mexico Heritage Preservation Award in 2015, and Traveling New Mexico published in 2004.
